Warming Up with some Salted Caramel Brownies

It’s getting colder and colder outside and I’ve been needing something warm and delicious to wrap up with inside, and there’s nothing quite like a classic brownie to make your day that little bit better.

Brownies are one of the quickest and easiest desserts to make, with endless possibilities of flavour, and the simple addition of salted caramel gives them that little extra lovin’ on a cold, autumn night. They are best served warm as the salted caramel layer in the centre melts through the soft, gooey chocolate. The salted caramel also adds to the richness of a simple brownie, giving the classic dessert a luxury edge.

Find out how to make these delicious bites here: http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/salted-caramel-brownies. This is a really quick and simple recipe to follow, getting the perfect result of a cripsy outside and gooey inside, making sure you’re ready for the frosty autumn night ahead in just 20 minutes.

Next week, I’m dipping a little more into the Christmas spirit with some Orange & Cinnamon Scones!
